Why did you pick Alpha Psi Rho?:
"When I first came into college, I was lost. I was so use to having a small group of friends and people always telling me to do this and that. But in college, I was on my own. I only made two friends before meet the clubs week at school. Every day felt the same; go to class, eat, homework and watch Netflix or TV and repeat. I went home nearly every weekend because I didn’t have many friends. I felt as if I was out of place and that I didn’t belong in this type of environment. I was lost, this young, naïve, and ignorant child trying to fit in so he wouldn’t feel left out on life. So when meet the clubs came around, as I was walking around with my friend, Lawrence (later to become my Pops) just talked to me casually took a rush week flyer and moved on. I saw rush party and that’s the only rush event I went to. After I had an interview and they said they would text me Friday if I got a bid. Friday comes along and I didn’t get any texts until Friday night. Lawrence texted me saying that I have received a bid but I declined it. Saturday afternoon he calls me saying why did I decline the bid and so this made me feel as if I was wanted somewhere even though I only talked to two members, ate their food and went to their party. This time, I accepted the bid and from that point on my life went on a journey.

 

Pledging gave me an experience that taught me to be more social, responsible and stronger than ever before. It gave me 13 other guys who I never know who would become so important in my life, my Pledge Brhos. I became a new person even though I thought I was going to be the same old one as before. I thought I would never find a place to fit in but this esteemed fraternity made a place for me to call my second home. Every Brho has your back no matter what; your struggle is their struggle also. YOU WILL NEVER FEEL ALONE because they are always here for you. You should rush for Alpha Psi Rho because they are different from every other fraternity. You will find out new things about yourself that you may have not known before and brotherhood. In this fraternity, there is no amounts of words that can describe brotherhood because the only way you will know is you come find out for yourself."
